The Historic Hanger
Pearson Air Museum
The Historic Hangar situated alongside Pearson Air Museum was built in 1921. The Hanger is an integral part of Fort Vancouver National Historic Site. Having spent many days strolling around the fort, Pearson Air holds a special place in our hearts. We are thrilled to share the magic of this historic venue with our loved ones as we celebrate our wedding.
Wedding Attire
Semi-Formal/Cocktail
We can’t wait to celebrate in style. We are requesting a semi-formal/cocktail attire for our wedding. Your presence and well-wishes mean the world to us, so please don't feel like you need to break the bank, but we do kindly ask that you refrain from wearing denim, sneakers, or white dresses at the reception. A cocktail dress/long dress, suit and tie, or good old slacks and a button up would be perfect. We really appreciate you dressing up for the wedding, and we look forward to creating beautiful memories together in style.
Venue Parking
Please kindly note that parking at the venue is limited, and we encourage carpooling whenever possible to optimize the available space. There is limited parking in the parking lot right by the venue. Rest assured, there is ample street parking and parking lots available nearby. We kindly request leaving the parking lot right by the venue open for the wedding party, and accessible parking ensuring their easy access and timely arrival. We recommend arriving a bit early to allow for smooth parking and ensure you don't miss a moment of the celebration.
Phone Policy
Celebrating Unplugged
As we celebrate our special day, we kindly request keeping cell phones tucked away during the first dances, speeches, and cake cutting to ensure an uninterrupted experience. Our professional photographer is capturing the moments, and we'd love your help in keeping our pictures free from any distractions. Thank you for your understanding. If you want to take photos on your phone during open dancing, please do! We can’t wait to celebrate together.
Lodging Accommodations
We've curated a list of some hotels for your stay during our wedding festivities. While we've provided several options, there are many other hotels in the area. We kindly advise against staying in Jantzen Beach and some parts of Portland due to safety concerns. Your comfort and safety are our top priorities, and we hope you find the perfect place to stay while celebrating with us.
